Unique Access to Koen Vanmechelen's studio
On Sunday, April 6, artist Koen Vanmechelen will once again open his studio to all visitors. This is a unique opportunity to admire Vanmechelen's ‘work in progress’ inside the striking building The Battery —a design by Swiss architect Mario Botta. Visitors can also take a break at Nomadland, where the canopies of the colorful gypsy wagons are open for food & drinks.
Practical Information
Spots for the Open Studio are limited. Residents of Genk and children & young people up to 18 years old can enter for free, but we still recommend reserving a spot.
